Yes, last fall this was first announced. It was available for trials in November last year, which could very easily be congruent with the GSW-Amazon timeline signing the MSA on Dec 1. Amazon would most certainly have tested the technology prior to signing an MSA with GSW, so I would say anything that came about from Sept 2017 (3 month product trial prior to signing) onwards could hypothetically be a GSW based feature. Then scaled in numerous test environments (widely) before going live nationally.

To add to this, along similar timelines an article from March 1 stated:

"Amazon has been quietly rolling out a new program over the past few months where delivery people will use photos to confirm your package has been delivered. The photo of exactly where the package has been placed will be included in the notice of delivery so Amazon users know when it arrived and where it is, as first spotted by USA Today.....USA Today reports that the program has existed for at least six months, but only recently has Amazon updated the delivery device and app so that all Logistics drivers can take a picture. The program is currently available in select markets, including Oregon, Las Vegas, Indianapolis, Seattle, San Francisco, and the Northern Virginia metro areas."

Obviously, another feature in the GSW suite: https://www.getswift.co/features-1/...-static-dynamic-4hrjp-ewdgd-azk75-px65j-dkxyk

6 Months ago, means the trial began in Sept 2017. Again, within the timeline that a software trial with Amazon may reasonably operate for a Dec 1 MSA signing.

So thus far Amazon has produced in the last 6-8 months evidence of live tracking, automated dispatching and proof of delivery via image capture. It may not be them, and Amazon may have just ripped of and developed their own version of the GSW service, sure. But I don't think you say that this "does not sound like GSW at all" when clearly there are numerous aligning features.

    Thanks,

    All IMO, DYOR.
