Spending $100m per annul to save more than $100m in costs is not an illogical thing to do.
$100mill on $7.2bill? That calculates to me to be 0.01388%. You wouldn't even bother worrying about it if that was your focus. Clearly the focus has nothing to do with raw savings on shipping fees but on a better experience for buyers. Gives competitive advantage as a selling point. Still no-one has been able to explain to me what unique competitive advantage GSW software actually has. It seems to be the best kept secret in the world.
