FletaP, as John said when he wrote the book, it's all pretty subjective.
Talent and success are unrelated ideas..so is law and justice!
Evie is undoubtedly one of the greatest all time Australian songs and the success of The Wrights cover showed that it found it's way to the hearts of a younger generation.,
The sales of Hard Road were largely driven by the success of Evie and not the quality of the album.
There are many questionable albums included in the book in my opinion, but they are the opinions of the writers and that's valid.
As is yours that it should be included.
