i think they saw better value elsewhere,(Mr Walker and co)maybe they took their secrets with them.If LW was principle i bet he would have some from those days at chinchilla.Maybe moving to another co gave him better chances with different investors and the like.
There is no chance in hell he was let go as you say because he wasn't good enough.IMO age was his nemisis but we all know what age brings.
