I'm going to go out on a limb and say NO ONE on this thread understands quantum computing. I'm someone with a technical background who has spent some time trying to understand quantum computing and I still don't.

I don't think anyone truly understands the challenges archers chip faces in order for commercialisation to occur. It begs the question why wasn't this technology picked up by the big players much early on considering how small the risks were in exploring it (it wouldve been spare change for google, apple, IBM, or whoever, to build a chip using Archers material considering how many limitations it was purported to overcome: scalability, temperature, qubit stability)?

In any case the people that have the best chance of making this chip operational are running the company. They are academics who have a solid understanding of the tech and not business people. Mo has the business acumen to make it happen.

Name one QC company that is not run by an academic?
