I remember reading in late Jan/early Feb that Chloroquine and the HIV medicine Remdesivir were successfully used in Thailand as a treatment. There is a paper from China in Nature dated Feb 4 recommending Chloroquine and Remdesivir as a treatment. I also have a treatment guidelines report from Korea dated 13 Feb 2020 recommending Chloroquine and Kaletra (Korea Biomedical Review).
I was wondering why Chloroquine was not used much earlier.
