I probably should work as corporate advisory... the way MOL can get around ASX rule is:
1) List on NSX (National Stock Exchange)... listing is much more easier than ASX
2) Say a small exploration company (Company B) needs cash to fund their project, offer MOL (now listed on NSX) "all share bid of Company B shares".
3) Than MOL will be taken over by Company B (MOL holders get Company B shares) and Company B is listed on ASX already, so MOL holders (exchanged Company B share due to takeover) are back on ASX listing.
Sneak back through back door and beat the system.
It is hard for ASX to block takeover if Company B's holders approve.
Give ASX the finger.
