re: have you ever wondered... why do big pharmaceuticals not take over biotech minnows in early stages of developing a drug? risk
let the minnow take the risks, develop the technology, jump all the hurdles to prove it up
then when the risks are out of the way, sure the big company has to pay double but the acquisition won't come back to bite them on the ar$e
at least that is how I see it
