Spock if you could afford at present a smaller outlay, you can always lock in the value of 100 shares on a month out long call option, till you get the cash to afford them at full price, at least you don't loose the current value if it swings higher in a hurry,
But generally always a good idea to wait till the funds are available, in an unforeseeable future.
