I don't see why we would be fretting about it dropping off by one per cent or so, some days the price is down some days it's up and MQG has had a very good month. Again, I don't think the inquiry will have a big effect on MQG, certainly not medium to long term and if investors in the big four hadn't priced the uncertainty of a potential inquiry into their investment decisions then they have been going around with blinkers on. Clearly, a majority of Australians, right across the political spectrum want an inquiry and, frankly, with some of their behaviour over the past decade the Big 4 have brought it on themselves. Even so, I doubt the inquiry will hurt the domestic banks that much long term, might even provide some good buying opportunities
