100 Tons of Dirt

I was in Tempe Thursday morning, so I decided to drive by my favorite flooring warehouse converted to world class lithium research facility, and see if I could spot the Big Sandy dirt bags. They must have been inside or in the walled yard, but I was surprised at all the activity. Half a dozen cars in the parking lot, more than usual. The back loading dock was wide open. The temperature was 40 degrees, but the place must not have air conditioning, just evaporative cooling.

The 100 tons of dirt are worthless, since there is no chain of custody and they are being stored in a place where they also keep samples of pure lithium. Not that anyone at AZL would think of salting the mine. But at Prairie, they admit they tested the samples before sending the best ones to an independent lab.

The original bulk sample was going to be dug very close to Hakamwe. The map just released shows it was at a fair distance from the Hualapai property. The statement by Ivan from Iowa, describing Hakamwe as northwest of the project, must mean that it is northwest just of the bulk sample site, and on the other side of what we call a mesa (he calls it a hill, but we don’t build landing strips on hills).

Are they still parking EV’s inside the warehouse? All that dirt might be useful if they need to extinguish another fire.
