Call me a conspiracy theorist, but this stinks of an orchestrated bear trap.
MANY sophisticated investors bought much much higher, and yeah - plenty would have shorted on the way down, but I doubt they'd be happy to sell their $12 shares for $1. They want their money back (here and overseas), and when you've an endless bucket of cash, it's not too hard to move the SP enough to get fools interested. Especially when you pump the price of low MC BNPL shares to try to trigger a FOMO response.
Oooh look. It's going up. Buy some ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
