Boom, I have been to the local ATAA a couple of times and I must confess I felt a bit unwelcome. When asked what and how I trade (my response was "full time futures trader") the responses were a bit like I was "the enemy" in a room full of self funded retiree's. Maybe it was the age difference as I was pretty much the youngest there by a reasonable margin.

I did see a presentation by Solly and it was worth the time but the second meeting I went to I felt like I was being sales pitched by the presenter. I'm not having a crack at the local ATAA as I think the idea is great, I just didn't learn much on either occasion I went and I don't think I fit in well with "self funded retirees". Perhaps that's because my job is to take money from their pension funds (or at least that's the way I was viewed). I know it wasn't because I had B.O. I shower every month whether I need it or not. :)

I'm probably too much of an "individual" lol
