Things that would help me to make the choice is a) Have I made a profit on my investment? b) If I do sell, what will I do with the cash? c) If I do not sell, what is the opportunity cost that I will incur? d) I always say "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush" meaning that I would much rather work with what I know than trust in a future that is uncertain.
