I agree u can not put BS in an announcement but if it is real work/development on site backed up with photo's showing progress towards a defined goal (that was an announcement) like setting up plant to do bulk sampling, drilling and pegging out and measuring a resource etc, then it is not BS, and keeps the SH informed. I have seen it done a few years back with ADU, listed on ASX at the time, when they were developing a mine in Ghana (as i recall). They managed to maintain share price reasonably during a year of development whilst not much was happening other than development of the mine and cash flows all out.
