100x potential

ok, a very bullish thread heading, but very real potential here.

Today's ann was hardly noticed by the market, but safety and some evidence of efficacy has been shown in two patients out of three on the low dose.

ptx100 is the only drug known to be in trials for some of the RAS/RhoA mutations. We have seen similar biotechs targeting less garnering us$2b plus deals/takeovers recently.

Loxo went for us$3.5b, and some of their people are now at ptx.

Because there is no other treatment doing what ptx100 appears to do, approval can be fast tracked and easier.

Today's news mentioned one person had stabilised and one had a partial response. "Partial response" is an unusual term, because in some cancer trials it can mean a reduction in say a tumor from anything between 25% and 90%. These patients are very ill, and have failed other treatments.

And these people are just on the low dose. Often the optimal dose for effectiveness is the final cohort, which is four times higher.

ok, still a long way to go, but what we want to see is safety and efficacy, and we got some good signs of both today. The realistic upside potential is huge, for a company with such a low mkt cap imho, and they have cash in the bank. A cap raising is underway at the moment too, so that might hold the sp down for a bit. But then they will have plenty of funds.
