no, they can't long date oppies about to expire, they would have to issue a new series i.e. GDNOB at probably a cost of ANOTHER 1 cent for another 12-18 month expiry date, with a lower strike price say 8-10 cents. I went through this exact same thing with VILO and they expired worthless too, no new ones issued, which is just as well as VIL have collapsed in a heap since the June 30 expiry of VILO.
