I spoke to the company this arvo. They have not production tested and currently do not have the required permitting to do so.
I put it to them that that means we only have their say so that they have an economic well. They replied that they have had three independant professionals estimate flow rates, which is where the 400-500 bopd comes from.
Unfortunately all estimates have to be done below the surface until they have permitting allowing oil to be brought to surface. This is why full production testing will be done in conjuction with SV Akkar. From a production viewpoint this approach may make practical sense.
Imo we have a ticking time bomb here and wonder what effect the impending roadshow will have on the sp.
