My understanding is that the power input required to produce a smaller grind size increases exponentially therefore IRD would reduce their power consumption for grinding greatly and as a result the OPEX. How much less grinding time is needed I?m not sure. However IMO the courser the grind might add limitations to transporting of the concentrate via pipeline and require more or larger pumps hence more power. That is if IRD decide to take that road.
