I grew up in Moonee ponds in the fifties. We shopped in Puckle St. We used to walk to the royal show grounds and try to sneak in, sometimes we succeeded ha ha I collected many emperor gum caterpillars from the local park and found many reptiles at parks surrounding the area. Lots of interesting things to find along the Maribyrnong river back then. Schooled at Aberfeldie state school then Essendon high. Hmm sorry, got carried away with the past. just ancient memories
