re: gann bearish again - djia 15,000 soon? I am a very rough amatuer chartist and just use the basic indicators on incredible charts to attempt to plot all the abbreviations for small cap equities on the ASX.

By plotting the indices, are you also basically charting the previous pschology and trading patterns of the market as you do with equities or does it differ and is it possible to track gold prices using the same methods? I am guessing the answer is yes but I am getting lost in this thread regarding the jargon.

I am attempting to track gold prices using the same principles but how far should one go back in time and logically, how can market behaviour be similar given the change in market dyanamics so many years ago. I am (mostly) a fundamentalist who is attempting to grasp the rationale behind this. Are there any historical indices that can be used in parallel with the the momentum of the gold price? Bonds?

I think I'll go back to my reading again.
