In December of 2016 108.2M shares issued AND 12.4M options (20-30 cents). Sales were $3.8M for the quarter and in a cash burn situation.
In December of 2017 172.4M shares issued and 5.8M options (mostly 25 cents). Sales were $22.5M and cash $31.4M with cash balance of $31.4M.
Margin of 46% on sales. Projects annual sales 12 months to $100M, so cash margin becomes $77.4M.
The AFR article smells like a smelly hit piece and is a piece of crap. I could tell you stories about "old time" manipulation from the visitors gallery of the old ASX in Sydney, and collusion with print media to drive speculation.
What is the issue? Total shares issued (in last 12 months) is around 64M to get to current position. Outstanding options number is very small. Directors salaries are extremely reasonable.
Great example of an extremely well run (and outrageously successful) company.
