props are falls bids to make the bid side look inflated creating a false economy of buyers.... keeping the price higher to make it appear like there's stronger demand than there really is...this allows traders to sell their shares higher. once they've sold at the price they want, they pull the props.
Imagine a fake retaining wall keeping up the SP. but when it's pulled, the SP collapses.
Hope I'm correct. Anyone else feel free to chime in.
