also it can be in part the trader, with a lot of cash, has a few buys in below the market and a few sells in above. Over time you get taken out on the upswings and get back in on the down swings.
But, once the day is nearly over, all the bids below get taken out, so that no late buying happens as NYSE might drop and catch you out.
