With the interest issue, I don't think it is an issue with REIT sector. Most terms with the banking syndicate are already fixed long term, and the banks always give the best rates to the big company as long as they will still want to lend money to them. If the credit crisis is over, then all the REIT stocks will jump dramatically because they would have more cash to run their businesses. We will see the sectors improve dramatically in the short term.
