This whole "Financial year" is just a load of crap.

A better way to crystalise the loss is through an off-market transfer. I have done this for the last 4 years. This way you still hold the shares and claim the loss.

This is real selling ... simple as that.

If something is in the wings don't think it will be where it is. Even a simple DFS saw the stock firmed from 10.5c to 17.5c. Obviously what was released was not what was expected.
