If this was GDN's first well, then yes the statistics would well and truly be working against GDN, however given all the human and mechanical issues which plagued PB #1, the evaluation from RPS Energy confirms its potential to be a major discovery. Indeed, which ever way one views PB#1, it's not possible to ignore the fact that GDN has some juicy ground and they are drilling in the right area.
IMO, most of the fog is behind them and they are now working in clean air for PB#2.
I'll do some research on those wells mentioned in RightSaidFred's post and let you know what I can dig up.
