I guess 1 item that sticks out to me is the following
So far (till Dec 31, 2023) PLL has invested equity capital (i.e. Cash) in Sayona Quebec of US$ 75.796M (just adding additional capital to the starting balance and ignoring the accounting adjustments)
That means Sayona Mining has contributed US$227.388M (or in AUD ~$341M)
To get a brownfield mine/concentrator project (yes there's been drilling and studies conducted also) restarted and ramping up to full production. Can I say that's relatively "expensive".
Not too sure SYA investors quite understand how much equity capital SYQ has hoovered up - surely there'll be a few challengers to that.
And forecasted to hoover up some more.
It's tough to get a mine into production - expensive, risky and you're not in control of the macro economic environment you sell into. But when it all comes together (like the perfect storm 12-18 months ago) its a money printing machine.
