Don't know what happened there with your call bigsky9 to our desk, there was a clear decision to take backorders which doesn't seem to have been communicated to the phone people.
With regard to the supply issue, we have never had problems sourcing 1000oz silver bars (and if you have a Depository account they'll sell you as many of those as you want). This is cold comfort I know to those who can't afford such a large size in one purchase, but we are doing what we can to expand production.
