On 20 Sept 2013, OBJ's share price sat at 1.3 cents. It had been fluctuating and on a general downtrend for a few years. The talk on that day was a bit familiar....
"Wouldn't be surprised if it were bakers offloading..."
"All of a sudden a 7M selloff. So is there bad news coming? Hope we're not in for a PRR type announcement."
"I hear you pal....GD would struggle to deliver a pizza! We need our management to be pro-active not the re-active ones currently in place."
"as you can see I am pissed off. I knew it would take a few years and thought it would steadily climb as the bits of good news filtered through but the announcer certainly cut the guts out of that theory every time it rose. obj like a religion----- faith and hope. crop of crap"
Did any of these folks, or anyone else there at the time have any idea that 20 Sept 2013 would be the last time OBJ would ever see 1.3 cents?
The same could happen for us tomorrow or the next day, or any day. We could leave 2.0 cents behind for good. Sure we won't see the heights of the recent past without some numbers on paper. But we could easily get some permanent clearance with some reassuring good news from our new board members who have so far been pretty sparing on hype.
