Thanks Mac . Ive started plotting a bit of a course with it . I use a crazy rectangle i sort of stole the idea from a trading platform where you can pick up and move a rectangle around to understand your trading regimes . Or at least this seemed best what it was used for .
I think it was on the now defunct broker bb something minds a bit boggled with the name but i think most would know of its recent collapse? I escaped luckily as was not up to moving into that level yet but was going be my chosen broker for its platform and chart stuff .
Anyway this is where im at so far .You could strecth this rectangle out as we are only predicting somewhere to plot a trade and maybe a pattern .We dont know if its going go sideways for how long or even if it will .I call it my snow angle
Being not a full term trader and having use end of day prices i have use different skillset to try determine whats going happen etc etc Thats why im price orientated as i develope these thing begin make sense the longer you stick with something . Maybe cognitive im not sure but is pattern recognition im trying hone my skills with also so i need try learn whats going repeat over agin or where they have most predicatbilty of beginning.
Most is amateurish at best but im of the opinion its price which determines that patterns we plot volume sure has an important that will proably come over time but is still the first few lines in the bid and ask for entry exit. Mind you ive just sat and watched forex with candles etc for hrs watching linear trend and candles so im very biased minded to having endless volume and using small amounts to trade with .
I have an obv indicator which often conflicts with my other indicators and at times is on song with the Trix being tripple smoothed has its supposed strength in picking the bottom of trend .
This part where ive watched with forex happens very quickly .ie the price rapidly moves towards a hundred percent linear trend line up or down and bounces .This is in quick time frames but if it respects the insdie fifty day trend lines in linear the price rapidly swings back like a pendulum a scissor action of the snow angle perhaps is best way i can describe my thoughts .
