As you say they could also be in the tullow camp and if so another bid looks long odds.

If it is another bidder then it gets very interesting because it opens the door for a 3rd bidder to come over the top after the other 2 have slugged it out like what happened when BHP got WMC.

Im tipping if Tullow counter bid they will only up the ante once and then head for the door if they miss out.
