Well yes and no!...I have been in one that happened like this, but they weren't on the verge of initial substantial production.

I mean say you have an offer now at a 40% premium...that would make it worth 34.5c/share...would you sign yes for that?
And then there's the proximity of production itself...let's say it starts next wk and we get (after ramping up) 15 to 20K bopd...the buyers are just going to bulldoze the sp way past that offer.

Agree with karthur...it is some sort of forced selling...just what, I don't know, but it must be urgent as they don't seem to have the patience to ease back and sell into an onslaught of buying with a production ann.

With these prices, we could be let out of the ASX 300 shortly!
