Primebroker told Mr Scott that, because MFS was suspended from **promotion blocked**, it had "sought bids for the shares from market participants".
"The highest bid price has been $0.01 (1) per share," the lender told Mr Scott.
Mr Scott has yet to file a response to Primebroker's allegations.
Speaking from Singapore yesterday, he said Primebroker's statement of claim would be disputed.
He declined to say which allegations were disputed, but when asked if he would file a defence said: "Yes, we will."
The 17.2 million shares pledged as security under the alleged loan agreement were seized by the ANZ when Primebroker collapsed on July 4 last year.
They make up about 70 per cent of the 24.2 million Octaviar shares seized from Primebroker by the bank when the stock lender failed.
The shares are now worthless.
