I am impressed QBE is displaying good pricing power in this era of adversity. Not many industries are, in case you hadn't noticed.
The CR lifted head office liquidity to $1.5b at 30 June. That is a lot of capital and no doubt already deployed to advantage.
QBE lost ~$750m last year. However the market is forward looking, interested in what it makes this year. I think it well placed as anyone wanting future pandemic cover will have to pay for it. I think QBE will fly.
