Ok so now we have someone to blame....goodo then, we'll pass that snippet onto the mother of the deceased girl. It won't bring her daughter back but that won't matter because by golly she will know who to blame and at the end of the day that is all that really matters.
As Obama said they other day there is one gun for every man, woman and child in the US. If 99% of people are responsible and lock away their guns (and I believe that is an unrealistic stretch of the imagination) then that means there are still about 3 million guns lying around the house for 11 year olds to access when they need to eliminate a playmate who upsets them.
