It only has to be repeated on multiple occasions because we are waiting for the federal government to do their part which is to provide the vaccinations that are required to put an end the lockdowns. They Morrison government had 2 jobs and needed to either get the vaccination process right or the purpose built hotel quarantine right. They failed BOTH miserably, and the consequence is 12 million people locked up indefinitely.
As I said, the Victorian lockdowns have worked on multiple occasions, it's the SA quarantine and Sydney lax rules on taxi drivers ferrying covid infected flight crew around that don't work.
If only some very highly paid numbskulls would learn from the mistakes made by others early on in the pandemic.
But hey, we have a 4 point plan to get out of this now, and some bright spark has seen fit to mandate aged care workers to at least try to get their 1st vaccine dose by September. Phew!
