Used to start early in the cool relaxed and let trucks sweep the road for a few hours before dawn and then get into it - just looked and google has it at 15 hours now ??? My only rule was generally not to stop and fix vehicles that overtook me at stupid speed and broke down so just left em with water and time to think as if they were going that fast they were doomed to break down. Used to see people filling radiators with beer as they carried heaps of beer but no water
