Some interesting analysis from this guy and in particular I like his FMG line chart versus iron ore price .His line chart shows when FMG last traded over the iron price it ended ugly with a major pull back . Unfortunately there is only data back to Jan 2001 which doesn't offer me a good guide on predicting a price . Certainly lots of fear re iron ore and China at present .

I think Japan is likely to regain their place as a leading economy in the not to distant future , anyone remember Japan in 1990 when they were buying the world ?
but ended up a basket case ?
cycle annalysis says they will have their day in the sun again and I believe that time is now and into the next 10-20 years and will replace China to some degree .
