Was just doing some very basic analysis on the volume since 23/04 - the date when the magical run started.
Excluding today, we have had 66 trading days noting:
1) A total of 494m shares traded since 23/04 (c.40% of the shares on issue).
2) As a comparison, the prior 66 days saw a total of 142m shares traded - so as is apparent to blind freddy, volume has exploded (before we even consider the traded value!).
So I was curious, does it not strike anyone as being even a little odd that we haven't seen the emergence of a substantial shareholder (5% ownership)?
Surely Mum's and Dad's aren't crawling all over this, which to me narrows this down to your less-than-appealing sort of holder on the register...
Anyone have any precedent examples of this type of accumulation that has ended well? (No, I don't believe this is being taken over on the sly).
