Rare earth processing is complex and has to be developed specifically to each individual ore type. It usually takes a company about 10-15 years to develop that process for eg Mt Weld rar earth project (Lynas) takes about 20 over years before they resolved their concentration and rare earth separation process even then their technology mostly developed in China .
