Good comments guys - seems the consensus is that the suggested delay to the last minute (April 30) is to allow time for GR to further the extension beyond the current expectation and also sort out part of the debt issue.

The market is expecting a 6 month extension. A 12 month extension would deliver beyond expecations and offer a better recovery for the SP. Knowing where GR is coming from this all makes sense. He would use this extension as a position improvement for himself personally. How many times in a persons career do they get a chance to make a debt ridden company turn-around?? GR will make a name for himself and deliver an announcement that should go beyond expectations.
