The point that the super funds may have lost a considerable amount on Centro, is a very good point. I would not be surprised is these funds had put in a quiet word or two to the banks, i.e. encouraging them to assist with a Centro recovery.

This additional support for Centro might be enough to finally sway the banks into doing whatever needs to be done to save Centro; as since Centro can pay their bills, there is little reason to kill an otherwise viable business.
