I posted about 3 months ago that according to my Malaysian friend in KL who knows abit about the local politic that the LAMP approval will only be granted after the ruling Barisan Party winning the next general election. The good news is that he thinks that they will win but as to when the next election is to be held he thinks most likely to be next March. There is no way the Malaysian Government would create more social unrest and demonstration by granting the permit before the election. Most likely we shall get the approval in April next year.
