I don't see Australia going into negative interest. I remember I paid around 6% on my mortgage when I bought my first house. people are talking bought interest rate will keep going up, but it didn't. is the similar case here, when you see RBS rate at .25%, you are talking about negative interest rate. if putting interest rate into negative not going help spending, RBA won't do it. the bank have very strong balance sheet and diversified product. when the economic comes back and the bank will benefit from that. I am talking about long term for Australia bank.
