This crisis has many phases to play out - they're cranking up the printing presses (which shall have consequences) and they're just hit $36 million unemployed in recent weeks in the US (which shall have consequences). Goldman Sachs stated rate will hit 25% by the peak. Not hard to join the dots on both of these and extrapolate obvious consequences.
As I said, if banks weren't backstopped by the Fed with its endless currency creation out of thin air they would already be dead. Look at GFC and Henry Paulson / Benny Boy threatening congress to release TARP funds to save the banks. They were dead then. Short memory?
Once a major bank goes and contagion spreads, you'll be wishing ANZ stock was still $10. so to answer your question, ANZ being affected has a lonnnnnng nasty ways to go.
Btw, no fiat currency throughout history has ever survived - they've all crashed to their intrinsic value of zero. What makes you think the USD / EURO will be different.
