yep i think everyone who was going to exit LIN now has and its mainly longer term holders which remain. No one selling and no one buying either which is making it difficult for the program traders/bots which have been selling down price. Perhaps the price is also being protected somewhat as seems that the powers that be do not want it to drop below this level.

this probably all means any material news should bring some good upside to the SP. agree though that the sector fundamentals remain poor.. unfortunately China increased their quotas again in Dec which was a surprise to the market, given they typically only release quotas twice per year. Seems they continue to be aggressive in their attempt to retain their stranglehold on the sector - just reinforces the urgent need for the West to get ex-China supply chains set up.
