126 METRES OF MINERALISATION INTERSECTED AT PEDRA BRANCA The Company is pleased to report an important development at Stage II (Pedra Branca) where ~126 metres of Copper mineralisation has been returned in the Western Zone. This underscores the potential for substantial resource growth. New hole APBD-12-24 contains 126 metres of continuous mineralisation averaging ~3% Chalcopyrite 1 from 248 metres 2 . Assay results are expected within weeks. APBD-12-24 is collared 100 metres down-dip of APBD-12-18 3 (24.00m at 1.50% Copper, 0.50g/t Gold, including 9.80m at 2.41% Copper, 0.80g/t Gold ) Within APBD-12-24, a 20 metre 2 higher grade zone (~5% Chalcopyrite 1 ) has been logged, which is double the width of the high grade zone intersected in APBD-12-18 1 above it. Additional to, and below the 126 metre intersection (separated by 11 metres 4 ), a new 16 metre zone of mineralisation has been discovered averaging ~6% Chalcopyrite 1 . 126 metres is the widest intersection to date (previously ~54 metres) and confirms thickening mineralisation at depth. Escalating grade and widths indicate that potential in the Western Zone could be similar or better at depth, than the Eastern Zone. Drilling is planned 100 metres East of APBD-12-24 to test the continuity of mineralisation. Stage II Western and Eastern Zones remain open at depth and are now both thickening a depth. These exciting results represent an important development and reinforce the probability of substantial resource growth, and the potential scope for a long life open pit/underground development. Current JORC Reported Mineral Resource Inventory for Stage I & II:
52.11Mt at 1.27% Copper, 0.32g/t Gold for 661,000 tonnes of contained Copper and 527,000oz of Gold The Company is reviewing its resource objectives for Stage II STAGE II - PEDRA BRANCA As previously reported drilling in the Western Zone (APBCD-14 and APBD- 18) shows the near surface multiple lenses merge to form a single broad mineralised structure with a distinct high grade core developing.
