Why do you think retailers, as an example, spend thousands and millions of dollars in advertising to attract customers ?
Answer: if people don't buy from them, their businesses won't last.
So, businesses NEED consumers many of whom are workers, and workers need businesses to employ them so they can have the money to spend buying from businesses.
A very simple concept, and that is what happens in the real world. Posters who keep on talking as if businesses are the ONLY sector that matters just don't understand the reality of doing business.
