If you go to the RBA website there is an excel spreadsheet you can download which shows the NETT debt owed by the government, which is updated each quarter.
At the end of March 2012 which is the last fgure available the official nett foreign debt stood at 131 Billion.
Since Rudd got elected, the ALP has added an average of 1 BILLION dollars of nett government debt every week they have been in power. That is NETT debt not gross debt.

Even at 131 Billion, the interest payments are approx. 5 billion every year, and rising, and the bonds are still being sold by this government every week to prop up the shambles that is this socialist communist union controlled debt fueled monster.
